I am the Head Coach and Manager of Big Four CrossFit. I am a Boy Mom of 2 wild boys, Beau and Boone, and have been married to my husband Sean since 2014. I've been a part of the CrossFit community since 2017 and it has become a staple in my everyday life. I am always interested in learning and bettering myself both mentally and physically! If I'm not at the gym you can find me outdoors and spending time with my family. I love what CrossFit can provide for any individual at any level and the community you are surrounded by!
"Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card and how you make others feel is your trademark."
I got into CrossFit in 2019. I had just graduated and missed being a part of a team. The CrossFit Community gave me the support, encouragement and competitive drive that I had been missing. I have been coaching for 4 years and would encourage anyone looking into fitness to try it out!
"Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do."
-John Wooden
My mom got me into CrossFit. I was unhappy with how I looked and felt, and she convinced me to try it. I joined the summer of 2016 and have been in love with the sport ever since. The community that surrounds CrossFit is inviting, supportive and competitive. I have been teaching in the area since 2017 and welcomed my first child, Baker in May of 2022.
"It's hard to fail, but worse to never try to succeed."
I am from Cincinnati and moved to Sidney in 2008. I am married to my wife Beth and have 3 daughters, Emma, Sophia and Stella. I have the best job in the world selling beer (and coaching CrossFit!). I love to read, work, CrossFit and hang out with my family. I'm also a huge sports fan, specifically Cincinnati Bearcats, Bengals and the Reds. Reading the book "Extreme Ownership" changed my life.
"We cannot guarantee success, but can do one better, we can deserve it." John Adams
Fitness has always been a part of my life, from high school sports, to adult fitness, to a 30+ year career as a Physical Therapist. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2012 when I was seeking for a better way to stay fit. What a relief CrossFit is to do such varied workouts and get away from the boredom of the same old thing over and over. I became hooked and getting my L1 certificate made me not only a better athlete, but a better exercise partner and Physical Therapist and went on to obtain my L2 certificate. Being a part of CrossFit is about fitness in a community that celebrates small and big victories together. In my profession I see a lot of sick and/or injured individuals and I truly love to share the benefits of this sport to every one of them!
"If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you've always got."
